I took Bleriot along on summer vacation in Michigan, and scouted out a new 281km permanent route. This was old-school - subsisting on food I found along the way. Given my strangely picky stomach and proclivity to bonk, it still worked out well, even on such a hot, humid day. Of course, there is nothing wrong with a root beer float :-)

Nice, thanks for posting, Lynne.  This is inspirational for a (small-frame) Bleriot owner whose bike is feeling neglected these days!  Steve

Great riding on all sides of Michigan.
West side wonderful and waterful a necessity this hot summer.
East side a paradise for Amit and company.
North simply breathtaking with beauty and charm.

I also love my great state.

Thanks for sharing!  I was on the other side of the bay just the week before.  It's all very beautiful coastline.   I've been meaning to ride on the peninsula for a while, now I may go up for the Harvest Tour next month.
