Took a super fun jaunt today in some fantastic fall weather. Colors are in full swing at the mile high. Speaking of color, I picked up a Fizik "test" saddle (in bright yellow) to try out on my cross bike, then unexpectedly sold the bike...still wanting to give the seat a try since a new crosser is on the way, I slapped it on the All Rounder. Originally I thought it a bit sacrilegious in concept, but oddly I kind of dig it. Hmmm do they make a yellow Brooks...

How does it feel?

Group question: In particular, is there any modern saddle out there
that is shaped like, and feels like (to your bum, anyway) the original
issue Flite? I've got a few Flites stashed, but it would be nice to
know that there is a modern equivalent -- that on my '03 is on its
last legs; I may try my hand at a re-cover when it finally gives up
the ghost.

All modern saddles I see have weird shapes and cutouts or channels.
