But... If you don't use 55mm tires (doesn't RBW measure stand over with a maximum sized tire?) and if you are likely to straddle the bike behind the mid-point (I.e. don't have a large backside forcing you forward), and since RBW gives a thumb's up... I'd say go for the 56 Bombadil. It'll definitely differ from the 56 Hilsen. I wouldn't go buying up 14cm stems or anything... I think your current 10cm (not max'd out vertically) is a decent starting point. You might even wind up with a shorter extension. In fact, you may want not to get a stem with a shorter quill. It is possible to insert a quill too deeply, right?
Sounds like a job for a 150mm Bullmoose bar!
