Wasn't someone onlist looking for one recently?

Both men's and "women's" models, says the catalogue. How is the w's
different? Even wider?

Usually they have shorter noses.

yes... Ws have a shorter nose. I ride a normal 68 on one bike and 68W on another... I don't notice any functional difference when riding.

Have an "All Terrain - Countess" on my nearly stock '85 Stumpjumper.  It's of B17 width with springs but shorter in the nose.  Tried it once on my Atlantis but the nose of the saddle and a more aggressive posture just wasn't working for the perinea.  I up-tilt the saddle quite a bit; I'll slip off otherwise!
