Anyone know if the current Veloce shifters will work with a triple
front derailleur?

I ordered a set of the Veloce Ergo levers from the LBS, intending to
build up a frame using mostly modern Campagnolo parts. I have a nice
Chorus triple 10-sp rear derailleur I was hoping to use. I chose
Veloce because they are (mostly) silver, and still available in 10-sp.

However, I heard somewhere that the current crop of Campy Ergo
shifters do not work with triples in front.

I'm surprised, as one of my bikes has a set of 9 or 10-year-old Record
ergo shifters that works fine with the front triple. I have not been
able to track this issue down in the archives - anyone have any data?

thank you.

p.s., my apologies, I meant to post this on the BOB list.  Any applies still appreciated, but I recognize subject not necessarily on topic for RBW list.

I am currently running new Veloce 10sp shifters with an older Centaur triple fd and a Dura Ace 9sp triple crankset on my Kirk . Works great!
