Update on RBW Owners Bunch Web Discussion

For the past week, accessing the RBW Owners Bunch via the web interface has been akin to downloading images over an analog modem - pokey and filled with weird time-out errors.
Here's what seems to be the deal. Google has been migrating all of the groups over to a new format, and is semi-redirecting things to that new location. It seems to load much faster if you go directly to the new "Forums" fomat, which can be found here:
https://groups.google.com/forum/#!forum/rbw-owners-bunch
So, just to divert comments about this -
1) Yes, it's a different presentation. I liked the older way too, but then again, I was just used to it. In a couple weeks, you'll probably never miss it.
2) Yes, it makes you reestablish your google ID connections, no longer using your previous image or moniker. No, I don't know why. If this vexes you, please direct your wrath to the folks at google, rather than share it with the group.
3) The discussion can still be enjoyed via email, rather than the site.
From my point of view as list admin, it does allow some other controls, such as "Locking" a discussion or making an "Announcement" as opposed to a discussion thread, and always displaying it at the top of the list. In fact, I'll probably do a couple of those things to this post, so folks continue to see it. I'll dig into things a little more next week.
All-righty, that's enough list-adminy stuff for a Friday....
