I'd consider running this on a retro bike with a fork crown that I didn't mind marring a bit as a handlebar bag support.

Ha! That's hilarious. Hmm..my recent XO-3 acquisition already has a scratched up fork crown..

If anyone's interested, I have actually have a couple of these NOS in
packaging. How's $40 shipped?
I wound up using the Nitto M-12 instead.
