Like riding it for the first time again after being off it for a month while it was getting repaired (Only needed new rear rim and spokes after broadsided. Nothing else damaged.).
I was using the race bike while waiting for the new rim to come in. So I got re-acclimated to that 700c x 25c, 110psi, "she's breaking up" feeling bike.
Bleriot second first ride report:
Bleriot feels like sitting on a chair and pedalling with the bars up so high and the Brooks saddle. I love it!!
It also feels like I am sitting closer/lower to the ground than the race bike (smaller wheels? Lower bb?). Feel more grounded and less teetering like on the race bike (Stiltstep Factor?).
Handling is great. Predictable, and I feel like it is easy to control. Longer wheel base contributes?
Fatty Rumpkin tire cush and wideness makes me feel more secure than when riding than the 110psi 700 x 25c tires of the race bike. Especially on rutty roads.
I never thought I would say this, but I really like the wider, low psi tire idea. Much more comfortable, stable, and enjoyable ride.
