Although they are a bit more than buying a used frame or bike there are three such items on the Riv website. Actually four if you count the pink custom frame.

$1500 for the Toyo AHH frame new with headset is a decent price.

Shawn:

You should probably see what size your wife should be riding using
Riv's sizing info. With their program you should be able to hit the
size within a couple of cm. IME the smaller the rider & bike the more
important it is to correctly hit the sizing.

My wife is 5'2" & rides a 47 cm Atlantis with 26 x 1.25" wide tires &
7 cm stem w/Nitto drop bars. She is comfortable & has a small bit of
standover clearance but does not feel she would want anything larger.
OTH, Riv's sizing info shows overlaps.

That 48cm Sam is a raging deal at $2200 for a complete bike. There's also the lovely Betty Foy frame for $1050. You're not likely to find a small used Riv that is significantly cheaper than that.

A quick update on my search for a Rivendell for my wife. I was originally only looking for an Atlantis, Sam or AHH, but ended up with both a 50 cm Betty Foy and a 51 cm Atlantis that was on e-bay. How did my wife get so lucky you might ask. After I thought I had lost out on the Atlantis I found the great deal on Josh Ratner's Betty Foy and after having  the wife tell me the Betty was her dream bike I decided to make her dream come true and purchased the Betty. Two days after purchasing the Betty I received a nasty note from E-bay saying I haven't paid for the Atlantis. What happened was there was a glitch with the "buy it now" and pay pal making me think I lost out on the purchase when in fact I had not. So now my wife has both an Atlantis and a Betty Foy.

I am now on a parts search for both bikes. For the Betty I am looking for a 165mm triple crank, Albatross bars, pedals, bar end shifters and a honey Brooks b67. I basically need everything for the Atlantis. Thanks in advance for any help with the parts search.
Cheers
