The 58 Simple One was in my size.  Thank goodness that temptation left quickly.  I still live on a 15% grade.  I do not need a single speed.  When I go home for the holidays (tomorrow) I'd be sitting there dwelling on it:  "that simple one would be PERFECT for around here!  It's all flats and rollers here.  Hey Mom!  Can I hang a bike in your garage, so I can ride whenever I visit?"

I have a 58 simple one in San Francisco, and its my favorite bike to ride around town. It does a great job of going from the Pacific to the Bay, but I stay away from the steeper slopes.
