My understanding of the history is that jinxed owned it, and williwoods owned it.  Last year williwoods had to fight and scratch to sell it, and maybe he did finally succeed.  Here's that old thread:

Now that identical frame and fork appears to be for sale on ebay

using the identical photos.  Low starting price $900, but the seller claims it's 2003 model, which I don't think is possible.  I don't know if it's even on the up and up, but even if it is, that Bomba has had lots of owners by now.

Yes i noticed too, was wondering why he was using Williwoods pictures, but he's selling a lot of bikes (like 8 at the same time), if its not legit he's really going all out for it, and the non-rivendell bikes look more unique, so maybe he just like will's pictures...

Is this the prototype 52 as seen on Cyclofiend's Riv page?

No this was just a stock 2TT 52 Bomba before they went all diagonal.

It is indeed the oft-owned one - I bought it from williwoods.
I'm liqudating due to a pending marital change...
Many of the bikes I've purchased over the last years just never got
built (or even unpacked), and I've been mostly using previous pictures
to save time/enerrgy.
2003 was a typo, just haven't had time to get back in and change it
I sold a herd of Kleins (I know, it's sort of sacriligeuous to mention
in the same breath as Riv) back in Autumn, and will several additional
bikes from here...
Regards,
Braden
