Those tires look comically small on an atlantis.  Get some big apples on that thing!

I betcha' he just threw those on for the sale. The fender-line looks like it was set up for larger tires.

Yeah, it does look funny in the pics.  Such is the issue with buying a bike setup for someone else,  now you are buying 100 bucks worth of tires if you don't already have them.  I always prefer to get frame only personally.

It's a pretty good deal though. Ride the tires till they fall apart, then put on what you prefer. Rest of the bike is a good solid build. Wheels are a little bit on the roadie side of the spectrum.

That's why you own a few bikes. Those parts you didn't really want in the sale will likely get in the rotation on one of the bikes at a later date, maybe on one that you sell yourself. Which makes me think of this...

I wonder if there's a part out there that's never been ridden and instead only makes the rounds getting tacked onto second-hand "for-sale" complete bikes.

I realize that's kind of a fruitcake-ish notion...
