Can't find a thread for this but I know I've seen multiple pix of
Atlanti with Rohloffs on them. How did you deal with the vertical
dropout issue? I think it would be a cool set up.

Don't tell Grant please!

I have an alfine rigged bombadil. I just use a tensioner, also alfine. It's a nice setup, with a bar end shifter but I think the rohlhoff only has a twist. Just be ready for the haters to tell you that you are fool hardy for not using regular shifters and drive train. My setup needs little adjustment and can be serviced with hand tools.

I have a Rohloff on my Surly Disc Trucker. The q/r version of the hub comes with a very nice chain tensioner. the Disc Trucker dropout is Rohloff OEM2 compatible, which makes it easy and elegant. With the Atlantis, you'd need to use the chainstay-clamped torque arm thing, which is less easy, and less elegant. IMO, the Atlantis is not an ideal candidate for Rohloff, but of course it can work. As for the Rohloff itself, I think it's wonderful.

Thorn Cycles in the UK make a drop bar compatible with a Rohloff Shifter.    http://www.sjscycles.com/thornpdf/ThornRavenTourBroLoRes.pdf
Go to page 5.

Probably not as nice as Noodles, but it looks interesting.
