Just flashed the lubuntu image and have booted successfully however I'm basically out of space. Installed a couple items and ran out.

There is another roughly 6 gig partition there and of course I can see my micro sd card that is blank.

How can I utilize this space or what am I doing wrong here?

Backup your current partitions with the Upgrade tool, first. Then from root/sudo commandline:

resize2fs /dev/block/mtd/by-name/linuxroot

and reboot. Check size with

df -h

Thanks. I found that a bit ago but it only enlarged to 2.0 gig.

cat /proc/mtd shows

boot
linuxroot
data (on the 2nd partition). It's about 5 gig. I think I can delete it with the rkflashkit and then resize again but not sure. I've already backed it up so I guess no harm in trying I guess.

I'm kind of getting this figured out. Last thing I need is a parameter file to get rid of the data partition. I thought I could just go in rkflashkit and delete the data directory.

Do I really have to go to all the hassle of getting the kernel sources for radxa_rock_android? Can someone just send me a parameter file?

No, you just need the parameter file. You can download from here:
http://dl.radxa.com/rock/images/ubuntu/2014-02-20/parameter

and flash it with instructions here:

Hello Tom, we have a few questions, followed the instructions but still can get this figured out.

Before the question, would like to explain what we need to do. We would like:
a. Use the entire NAND for Android
b. Use a 16gb SD to install Lubuntu
c. Dual boot

1. What is the correct image to use? Please provide the folder and full file name.

2. How to upload the parameter file to the Radxa? Download the http://dl.radxa.com/rock/images/ubuntu/2014-02-20/parameter and used the batch tool get error "Load Firmware Failed". Is is using the RKBatchTool?

3. Please provide correct Lubuntu img file name from http://dl.radxa.com/rock/images/ubuntu/

Thank you Tom. I followed the instructions, but when boot into android there is no icon to boot into Linux.
