Dear Gents,

Is there any mean to prevent clients from publishing to any queue? Any rabbitmq user can send to any queue as long as he has privileges to write to the default exchange. Is this correct?

Correct. You can prohibit publishing to that exchange only or limit access to particular
exchanges:
