* Depending on the kernel (it was not problem with a 3.0 kernel) and
the phase of the moon the FS unlocking is taking place on any of the
possible graphics connectors, not necessarily one with a display
connected to it
* Beware of HiDPI displays; you have to modify settings in several
places to be able to work without a magnifying glass.
* nouveau seems to be unhappy with this particular adapter although
likes it well enough in the current Ubuntu 14.04 version.
* didn't get it to boot the distribution media using EFI.
