BTW, the hardware all basically works: Graphics, sound, network,
keyboard, pointing, etc.

The only thing that's off is the Fn key layer for screen brightness,
etc., as its generally unresponsive (it worked in R2b2) but it hasn't
been important enough for me to try older kernels or other workarounds.
