Announcement for Users of CMS Web Interface (formerly known as GPRO)
CMS has been working to enhance and improve quality reporting. This year, we are creating a new version of the CMS Web Interface (formerly known as GPRO) that you will be able to access through the Quality Payment Program website. Throughout the design and development process, CMS reached out to various ACO and group practice users to learn about your needs for reporting quality data. We learned that the step of converting your Excel files into XML files took time away from reporting and increased the level of effort for reporting teams. As result of your feedback, we have removed the XML file conversion step from the reporting process altogether and will be moving forward with Excel file uploads only. (You will still be able to manually enter and submit data through the CMS Web Interface as well.)
This year, we created a helpful Excel template for your team to utilize during the submission period. You can fill it out and upload it as many times as you need, by simply dragging and dropping your file into the CMS Web Interface.
Attached to this post is a the new Excel template with some example data as well as an instruction guide for using the template. We have also produced a
video on the CMS YouTube channel which introduces the Excel template.
Please note: This announcement is not about the QPP APIs, but we have received many inquiries on this topic here so felt it was appropriate to share this information. Please direct questions about the CMS Web Interface Excel Template to the QPP Service Center and do not post questions here.
