Problem using subversion module

Hi guys,

I'm trying to use the Subversion module here:

https://github.com/duritong/puppet-subversion

I have unzipped it to my modules folder but I am having problems calling the definitions from elsewhere in my manifests.  I get the following error:

err: Could not retrieve catalog from remote server: Error 400 on SERVER: Puppet::Parser::AST::Resource failed with error ArgumentError: Invalid resource type subversion::svnserve at /etc/puppet/modules/mw-web-suite/manifests/httpd.pp:391 on node ***

I can make it work by redefining the svnserve definition as subversion::svnserve, but I wonder why that would be necessary in a properly written module.

Sorry, I don't know a whole lot about puppet inheritance so any help is awesome.  Thanks!

Agreed, I'm puzzled why it's not named thus in the upstream module.

Perhaps it's only suitable for specific puppet versions?

Okay, good enough for me :)  So the standard practice then would be to fully-qualify all classes, definitions and types declared within modules?
