delete function syntax help

$compute_nodes = delete([range("100.0.0.1","100.0.0.10")],$get_my_ip)  doesn't delete $get_my_ip ... 

Is there something wrong in this syntax ? 

$get_my_ip is a user defined parser function to resolve the ip address from a hostname and it prints out the right address (100.0.0.1).

Never mind. Just figured that out myself. 

No need for the square brackets [....].
