Nice.
However, in Pune the after is going to be more likely worse, than before.
One idea is to use the before as the vision for the after  (switch the sequence).
Alas, street view is not available in India (yet) so the *before* is undocumented...
rgds,
Anil

Dear Sujit
With Sanskriti Menon CEE and Prasanna Desai architect of BRT Bus stops working on this why should it be worst? Why not ask them what they are planning to do and where.

Hi Anil
Before is right now so it can be documented very easily. Why not ask Prasanna Desai and Sanskriti Menon if they have already done it or are doing it.

Not just ask designers, tell them to document before/after photos,  then make a website to track each intersection over the years...As an example a thinly frequented BRT corridor coupled with an increase in cars is likely to make things worse. This needs to be detected,  else people will blame BRT!!

This the issue is beyond architectural,  the entire design of the systems needs to be consistent. Another ex,  two wheeler lanes at some intersections is a good initiative,  you can't wish them away... We need before/after,  there too.

Rgds,

Anil
