Hello. I'm new to psychopy and have been using it to create a semantic priming and lexical decision task experiment

Stimuli included  120 Prime-target word pairs.40 related (e.g., METAL–STEEL) and 40 unrelated  (donkey-purse) and 40 word-pseudoword (dress-zores) Each trial will consist of: (a) a row of preparatory fixation crosses for 500 ms; (b) blank screen for 250 ms; (c) prime word for 175 ms; (d) blank screen for 575 ms, resulting in a 750-ms prime-target SOA; (e) target for 250 ms; blank screen for 1250 ms; (g) the promptYes or No? Until participants respond via a button-press; and (h) blank screen for 3000 ms until onset of the next trial. All stimuli will be  centrally presented. Which demo is suitable for my experiment? How can I make ths experiment ?

(1) Google for Jon Peirce's Stroop tutorial on Youtube to learn the general principles.

(2) Find out the refresh rate of your monitor: you may not be able to display stimuli for all of the durations you currently intend (stimulus durations have to be integer multiples of the screen refresh period).

Regards,

Michael

Hello, Seren!
I'm making an almost identical experiment for the croatian language and am therefore curious about the results of your experiment, if you've managed to conduct it. I was wondering if I could contact you via e-mail, or however you are comfortable, to discuss them, or if you could point me to a paper you've published?
I hope you see this message and thank you.

Regrards,
Lana
