Remember the talk about doing a new release? Me neither, because that
was so last-year. So this year, we actually do a release (thanks again
to Alex for the reminder ;). And after merging the latest merge
requests, and fixing some Linux stuff, removing some old, unmaintained
code and moving things around, here it is:

PS Move API 3.9.0 is now available, the first release since December 2012.

I've also updated and simplified the webpage accordingly:

http://thp.io/2010/psmove/

Here are the contributor stats since the last release:

https://github.com/thp/psmoveapi/graphs/contributors?from=2012-12-12

The list of commits in this release can be found here:

https://github.com/thp/psmoveapi/commits/3.9.0

Now would be a good time to see if it still builds with your project
and do any changes to your project or submit a pull request for fixing
the PS Move API build for your use case.

If you have any games or libraries using PS Move API that are not
linked from its webpage, let me know and I can add a link.

Enjoy,
Thomas

Can you please provide a link to the freePIE version that has a working PS Move plugin?

BTW, motioninjoy and moveframework are sort of alternatives to psmoveapi. moveframework seems good but it's not multi-platform so I've never tried it. I've stayed away from motioninjoy because it is also not multi-platform, it requires an internet connection to use (I think there's a version that gets around this), and apparently it's adware.

FreePie is not exactly for end users it still requires "python" scripting.

If you can a do scripting with python at least you can try using my FreePie fork but it is using love API 3.0

I've got a working script that maps 2 psmoves and 2 navigator controllers as the Razer Hydra.

Hi Curtis. If you're still trying to get it to work I've managed to build libpsmoveapi.dll and libpsmoveapi_tracker.dll with Thomas' latest github code using Chadwick's hidapi fix so that it works on Windows 10. This should enable you to run David's FreePIE version. I've bundled the two in this .7z file (I couldn't attach them for some reason).

I'd just like to add a huge thanks to Thomas, Chadwick, David and everyone else that has contributed for all the work that they have done!!!!

Cheers,
William
