Good afternoon,

I’d like to invite you to a taster session for a new and inspiring space that will open in Stoke-on-Trent this year – WaveMaker, the place where Stoke-on-Trent’s young people are set to become the most tech savvy in the UK.

The taster sessions will take place on February 6 and 7 at the Mitchell Arts Centre in Stoke-on-Trent and will explore the technology demands and interests of the local community, particularly where young people and businesses are concerned.

We’d like to invite you to drop in and find out more about coding, making, programming and cutting-edge technology in general. It’s a great opportunity to try your hand at 3D printing, virtual reality, designing your own apps, creative coding, music making, getting creative with Minecraft, circuit bending and so much more.

WaveMaker is a project sponsored by Comic Relief and Nominet trust and organised with the support of some of the most pioneering organisations in the Stoke area, including technology company bITjAM, Staffordshire University, Unity and the Potteries Hackspace.

The event would be a good opportunity to see how the space can help your business or organisation.

If you’d like to find out more about the event or are interested in attending, please reply to this email or call me on 01785 225416.

Best regards,

Jessica
