We are developing a recycling related proyect, and need to cheap and automatically recognize PET, paper and aluminium, so a machine can automatically separate them. We are just starting to play with our DIY spectrometry kit, but for now, seems that will be not a piece a cake...haha.

We are planning to use LED lighting to be reflected into the materials and see what happens. 

If any of you have already tried with this topic, hearing your comments would be extremelly helpfull for us.
