EPA Region 2 Citizen Science Public Forum

January 9, 2016

10 am – 1 pm

Optional Dutch Treat Lunch after meeting at nearby restaurant

Please join us for the first Citizen Science Forum to:

·       Discuss the current state of Citizen Science projects and efforts within EPA Region 2 

·       Learn more about our Equipment Loan Program Grantees and their experiences.

·       Discuss the overall direction of the Region 2 Citizen Science Program & Partnerships moving forward

This will be an opportunity for citizen scientists, EJ communities, and tribal nations to discuss key challenges citizen scientists currently have; explore key media areas that are currently being monitored for, or want to start your efforts in; discuss priorities of your citizen science program such as educational, outreach, monitoring, or analysis; and as a new citizen scientist, what do you need to get started.
