Dear All,

I really can't say enough bad things about this or SIEDC's Gondola idea. But as they are completely out of touch with what these Environmental Justice communities need and have been asking for, for ages, what else can be expected but bad and thoughtless ideas. Nonetheless scroll down and do as you will.

What will the abandoned rail line in Port Richmond look like if it becomes a new park space?
It's your chance to weigh in!

Please join the Staten Island Economic Development Corporation for a public viewing of the North Shore High Line Design Competition submissions. The viewing will take place Monday, May 15 in the CHASI Community Food Pantry at 2134 Richmond Terrace from 3PM-8PM.

Earlier this year, the SIEDC launched the design competition for the proposed North Shore High Line, which would occupy an elevated portion of the rail line in the Port Richmond neighborhood between Richmond Terrace, Heberton Avenue, and Nicholas Avenue. We have received 15 submissions, and now we want you to help develop the future of the North Shore by voting on your favorite design at our public viewing.

Please RSVP by responding to this email or contacting Lonnie Baron at 718-477-1440, x814

Thanks, and I look forward to seeing you there!
