Hello all!
We're in the final six days of our Kickstarter campaign in support of kite and balloon mini prototyping kits:
We're getting close to the finish line, but we're not there yet! To keep things moving we've added new rewards, including new lightweight cameras for easier mapping, in addition to the mini kits, classic kits, as well as new posters and pocket guides that will have all of the information that folks need to get started with balloon or kite mapping.
It's been exciting to share the work of Public Lab's grassroots mapping community with a new audience, and to introduce brand new aerial mappers and environmental investigators to the tools and resources that will help them get started on their own projects. We've been showcasing some of your work, designs and ideas over on our updates page, and encourage you all to take a look.
We would also love it if you would share this campaign with new, potential kite and balloon mappers in your own networks and communities, and we look forward to seeing how all of you take to the skies with our shiny new red balloons and squid kites!
