The World Meteorological Organization (WMO), reports a 50% increase in atmospheric CO2 levels in 2016, as compared with the past ten year average. Link below. -Gilbert

Gilbert, I believe you misworded your note. As I read the link, it is reporting a 50% increase in atmospheric CO2 level 2016 increase over  the average of the past ten year average of yearly increases. They were examining the yearly increases not the yearly level.
