Please try deleting PlainText and reinstalling it directly from the App Store. I believe this fixed this occasional issue when 1.3 was first released.

If you have any unsynced documents, you can export them first using iTunes Document Sharing or an app such as PadSync.

Best regards,
- Grey

I deleted from my iPhone and iPad and reinstalled directly from the
App Store. After I set up DropBox sync, the app crashed when I went
back to the list of files. Now the app will crash whenever I try to
open it. I can attach the Console log message if needed.

Actually, when I just tried again on my iPad, as soon as I put in the
Dropbox info and tried to link, the app crashed. Below is from the
console from when I turned on debugging until after the app crashed.

Are you in a place that has normal network access? Or is there some
firewall or something like that?

I tested this on my iPad that blocks access to the Dropbox website,
but I can access and sync my dropbox folders to my work PC. I tested
it at the same time with my iPhone using only AT&T's 3G connection. I
had the same crashes.

I headed over to Borders today and did see crashes when trying to sync
before I'd agreed to their terms and conditions firewall (not sure I'm
using that term correctly... I mean the web page they put up before
you can use general internet). Apparently the Dropbox SDK that I'm
using reports that I successfully fetched the folder metadata in that
case... even though it fails parsing since it's just seeing an HTML
page instead of json formatted metadata. And the result is havoc in
PlainText sync.

I'm not sure this is the issue that you are seeing, but I'm pretty
sure it's a common issue that people are running into. I think I've
fixed the problem locally now. But it's going to be a while before an
update comes out. Still waiting for apple to approve the current
PlainText update, then we'll submit this one.

Great! Hopefully that'll work.

One other data point - at home using my WIFI, the app works fine.
Using AT&T 3G, the app crashes.
