creating notes via email?

Hi Maciej, list,

I'm wondering if it's possible to create notes via Email.
And if not, Maciej, whether you would consider adding this feature.

Use case:
I am subscribed to various mailing lists, and sometimes I come across
an interesting mail that I consider to be worth saving. Now, I have a
lot of interesting webpages in Pinboard; it would be ideal if mails for
the same topic could just be saved in Pinboard as well - and the
mechanism that would be easies would be to just forward this mail to
Pinboard as a note.
This way, I would have one database of stuff that is interesting
enough to be saved.

Of course, I'd also be happy to learn about other means for achieving
this end.

I'm curious as to your thoughts.

I think Luca is referring to saving notes, not bookmarks, by email.  That feature doesn't exist.

I will be honest and admit that handling email parsing bugs has been so time-consuming that it's scared me off other forms of email integration.  It turns out there are so many variations on email format, particularly from mobile devices, that it becomes a tarpit.

Maybe someday I'll pull out a bottle of whisky and add all kinds of email handlers, but for now I am too timid.
