Hi!

When I choose the Pos. 2 to PositionHold, the warming message will be shown of GCS. It can't be armed! Why?

Now my sitting is Pos. 1 is Stabilized 1, Pos. 2 is AltitudeHold and Pos. 3 is Autotune. It can be armed! Is it caused by the GPS signal?

Thanks.

Eric

I think that this feature is not supported in next software version at the moment .

I think again that this is not supported. all the stuff with gps is under construction at the moment because it need more tests... There is a special version for developers I think which has some of this features.

I am not sure where the next release stands as far as PH but before you can put PH mode on the flight switch you have to have GPS, PathPlanner and PathFollower modules running. I hope to get back to testing it very soon myself.

Yeah I think everything important is in next now an we have a test group to try and work closely with a few people and make sure we get solid results.  Then we'll post some instructions how to get it going.

I flew PH for the first time this morning.  It held position very well in a pretty stiff breeze.  You can playback the logfile in the GCS. On the Flight Data screen, at the bottom right of the screen "Connections:", select "Logfile: Logfile Replay" and "Connect"  Then select the logfile  attached.

In the upper right corner of the map click on the UAV symbol and select "center map on UAV" then you can zoom in to see the GPS track, the PFD, Flight Mode" etc

Great! Is jenkins-taulabs-next-win32-556:444244fe 20130517 20:51 specifically recommended for PH or would any later version work as well? I am currently using master.

I'm not really sure.  I am using a build for the PH test team.  We still have some testing and documentation to do but we are getting closer.  I hope to fly PH with auto throttle control after work today if the weather clears up, tomorrow if it doesn't.

Yeah to follow up on this I'm very hesitant to publish instructions how to jump into this until we have a handful of people who have really tested it and made sure the basics are all sane.  We've got a few people tooled up and trying though so it shouldn't be too long.

Ed that's awesome.  Congrats on the first position hold on quanton I know of and great work.  I love hearing android in the background too letting you know what's going on.

If you ever here 'attitude error' that means the GPS signal was lost and it is about to start drifting.
