According to multiple sites Nikki's (mother) surname is Burrows (not Durrows). What is known about this side of Edo's family?

Hello Jelena, the Country Life announcement of his parents' engagement gives us:

Miss Nicola Burrows, younger daughter of Mr David Burrows, of Pincents Farm, Theale, Berkshire, and of Mrs Susan Burrows, of 2 Walton Street, London, SW3, is to be married to Count Alex Mapelli Mozzi, only son of Count Gianpaulo Mapelli Mozzi, of Sortoriva, Ponte San Pietro, Bergamo, Italy, and Countess Gigiliola Mapelli Mozzi, of Park House, Warwick.

There is a 2014 record of a 'Mr D. N. Burrows' objecting to development at 'Turnhams Farm/ Pincent Lane'; whether this refers to David Burrows, a related person (not, it would appear, a son- see below), or someone coincidentally resident in the same area bearing the same surname is unclear.

A few sources give Nicola Diana Burrows, b. 1956; based on this, the birth record in that year at Henley, Oxon., mother 'Heath' would appear to be correct. Given the Country Life announcement stating her to be the 'younger daughter', the most likely candidate for elder sister appears to be Carolyn E. Burrows, b. 1954 at Kensington (given the possible identification of her parents' marriage, see below). At Henley in 1959 was born a Richard D. Burrows, and in 1965 at Oxford a Philippa A. Burrows, probably siblings of the above. A 1952 marriage- basically the only real possibility I could find- between a Robert D. Burrows and Susan A. Heath; of course the 'D.' could represent 'David', but the potential fly in the ointment is the aforementioned 'Mr D. N. Burrows'. Nobody of any version of the above names appears in any search results related to 'Pincents Farm' or 'Theale'.

Thepeerage.com, citing BP 2003 shows, as wife of Mark David Wiggin, of Downton Hall, Ludlow, Salop, a Philippa A. Burrows (see above), dau. of David Burrows, of Tetbury, Glos [EDIT- Debrett's 2011 gives this same information]. There is a 1993 death record- and subsequent probate record- for a Robert David Burrows, born 1929, of Waste Farm, Knockdown, Tetbury. I would suggest that all of these details are corroborative.

(Robert) David Burrows's birth record (mother's name 'Bainbridge') fortunately led on to a fairly extensive family tree [see Burrows of Atherton in Armorial Families (7th ed. 1929)]:

In 1911, Sir Robert Abraham Burrows (1884-1964), of Bonis Hall, Prestbury, Cheshire, chairman, Lancashire Associated Collieries, chairman of directors, Remploy Ltd, Liberal politician, J.P., High Sheriff of Cheshire 1940, K.B. 1937, K.B.E. 1952, married Eleanor Doris (1891-1975), dau. of Arthur Emerson Bainbridge (1862-1930), of Hazelwood, Thorpe, Surrey, director, Bainbridge & Co., Ltd department store (29-37, Market-street, Newcastle-on-Tyne). Their elder son, Miles G. Burrows, was b. 1912; there were also two daughters (birth records indicate three; one perhaps d. inf.).

R. A. Burrows elder s. of Miles Formby Burrows (1856-1943), of Brook Cottage, Langford, nr Bristol, colliery proprietor, J.P. (Lancs.) and (m. 1882) Gertrude, dau. of Robert Dawbarn (1825-), of March, Cambs., solicitor [s. of Robert Dawbarn, of Wisbech, Cambs] (presumably a cousin; see below).

M. F. Burrows 2nd s. of Abraham Burrows (1827-1901), of Newbrook, formerly of Green Hall, Atherton, Lancs. [now Greater Manchester], colliery proprietor, 'J.P. and C.A. co. of Lancaster' (per Armorial Families) and (m. 1850) Elizabeth Gooding, dau. of John Dawbarn [the 1871 census indicates Elizabeth to have been b. 1823, at Liverpool; given the generations established here and above, Miles Formby Burrows and Gertrude Dawbarn cannot have been closer than second cousins, if such a relationship existed at all, the only grounds for such an assumption being, of course, the uncommon surname 'Dawbarn']. Armorial Families gives John Dawbarn as of 'Oxton, Cheshire'.

Abraham Burrows s. of Jabez Burrows (1789-1862), of Norwich and of George Street, Yarmouth, Norfolk, silk factory superintendent, and (m. 1813) Mary, dau. of - Tyrrell. The 1789 christening record for Jabez Burrows gives his parents as 'Jn. Burrows' and 'Esth Mundford'; other children, born at Norwich, are given of John Burrows and Esther Mundford, and there is a 1779 marriage record for John Burrows and Esther Mumford, which presumably pertains to the above individuals.

In order to find out more about the Mozzi family, I found additional information at the Villa Olmi Firenze website, www.villaolmifirenze.com (our story section). What stood out to me was the following: "Hence, when Giulio dei Mozzi, member of the Florentine Senate, decided to extend the villa and modernize the property in 1781...". When I reviewed the Mozzi genealogy, this Mozzi family member was missing. Was this just a mistake?
