We have a new website and it's a wiki. I like wikis (thanks, Ward). The new site adds meeting notes, uses Calagator for events, and uses ePDX for membership. It's now easy for anyone to add new content and improve what's there. My hope is that this will reduce the barrier to contribution as much as possible.
The software and format of this new site, er, page have been working well for my other groups,
pdxdevops.org and
pdxfunc.org, so I don't expect any surprises.
I'm grateful to those who build the old "cat herder" Rails app because it served us for years, and helped inspire Calagator and ePDX, both of which have made huge impacts on the broader Portland tech community. The old app is still running and responding to its URLs, but you'll now get big banners explaining that you're getting old data.
Feel free to add and improve the content on the new wiki, or ask here if you'd like to discuss a proposed change or issue in advance.
Cheers,
