"Recent" tab in Panoramio Map not working

On Explore, World map, the "Recent" tab does not show photos any more, since some days.
It was still working two weeks ago. Popular, places, and indoors are still working.
Checked on Firefox and Chrome.


P.S. Changed "New" (German translation) to "Recent",
To me the translation is better than the original :-)

For me (on Chrome) the Recent tab was working yesterday, but isn't working today. This is in both the old and new interfaces.

Using IE 9 on a Win 7 setup, the Recent tab is NOT working for me at any zoom level.

I also observed that my recently uploaded photos do not appear under the "Your Photos" tab anymore, but photos uploaded two weeks ago do.

It seems there are more things breaking than fixed these days...

This is also true of places on long-established pictures. I snapped a couple of my existing pictures to a different place yesterday and they do not show up on the map for the place. It seems that no changes of any kind are being applied to the Panoramio map.

Eegads, Recent is indeed broken.  

I'll work with our team to get this fixed as soon as possible, but realistically it may not happen until early January; sorry!

I have the same problem. I cant't see my photos and the PANORAMIO queries don´t return my photos.

Only some *recent* picture are shown. How is 'recent' defined?

None of my pictures (uploaded 1, 3, 7, 8, 10 days ago) are shown. But I have seen other pictures uploaded 2 two days ago. There is no consistency  in what works and what does not work.

The last time we had inconsistencies in the map it did took a couple of days until everything was synchronized again.  My photos uploaded in Mid December still don't show either under "your photos".
So let's wait until the weekend; if your photos still don't show even under "your photos", the problem has to be brought up again.

The definition for "recent" is 9 to 10 days as to my experience.

I tried something today.

 I removed a place from my photo, saved it and added it again in Change location mode..

It seems to add the photo on the map. But this takes time of course if you have many photos to change. 

I always add place to my photo, so this seems like a good solution, while PANORAMIO is still dragging its feet to resolve this glitch.

it works even if the photo was not associated to a PLACE:
just enter "change location" mode and associate a place, then save.

No need to go thru all the hassle, just do what we usually do: wait and see...
Most of my last photos have popped up on the map now without me doing anything.

Now that works, but when going to the page of df3vi I see the area below his name and stats something to do with groups. Since it illegible and appears to have images to groups and a list of groups next to it, I assume it is intended to be a short cut to loading images to a group. Nothing was active in that area.

Of course it loads in the new version, which means I need to re-find my link allowing me to return to Classic. So it goes.

LOL - screen shots now looking like errors. I would never have guessed that the link would return me to Classic.

As I wrote on another thread a while back, programmers seem to take extra pains to hide links or create symbols that they think will be the new standard. Wouldn't it be great if the link read "classic"? ); >)

Unfortunately, at least in my case, the problem persists.
Some photos published in December are still NOT visible in the map (tab " Your Photos ").
The only ones that have become visible are the ones where I have added a link to a PLACE (according to the hint of Tomros ) .
To provide more accurate information (such as help to fix the problem) I report below the situation of my photos published in the month of December 2013 :

"Selected for GE/Maps" photos that were uploaded Dec 24 and Dec 30 do not show on the map in the "My Photos" but photos uploaded since then do show up.

Yes, the mapping and view counts, there is no relation, my view count is down to 1200 level.

My photos from Playa Santa Lucia uploaded between 12 and 25 December are now very visible on the map, so that will mean more views in future!

My Dec 24 photos are now showing in the map under "my photos tab" (thanks for the fix) but the following photos uploaded Dec 30 are not showing on the map under the "my photos tab"
