Nicely composed , far more interesting than the average sunset photo found on Panoramio.
I think you could lighten the shadows to some degree without losing the colour of the sky to make the foreground even more interesting.

I agree with David about the composition. I think the lines created by the boardwalk do a good job of keeping the eye centered on the image. The colors in the sky and in the water's reflection are quite nice, although something about the color of the boardwalk seems a bit odd (maybe I just didn't expect to see it painted pink). The reflection on the water also helps bounce quite a bit of light so that helped your exposure, which overall, I think looks pretty good. Nice, solid image here.

I'm not sure I agree with David about lightening the shadows.  Sometimes there has to be a bit of mystery in the dark areas.  The way it is, the silouettes add interest to the sunset without drawing our attention away from it.

I noticed the color in the sidewalk as well, but assumed it was because the surface was somewhat shiny and reflective.

I think the curves along the right side and across the middle work very well.  The combination of the light poles looking like masts and the large pylons along the sidewalks give the image a strong nautical feel, and I think it works well.

Some areas of the clouds, when viewed full size, have an almost posterized look that I find unnatural.  That, along with some other details such as the way the noise looks and thin "halos" along high-contrast edges suggest too much sharpening was applied.  This may have been part of RAW conversion or may have been an automatic setting in your camera.  This is only a detail, though, certainly not enough to ruin the shot.

Well done.
