LCD problem in the chipsee expansion in pandaboard.

Hi,
I am trying to port ubuntu-oneiric on pandaboard ES 2.1 which is
with chipsee expansion board. It has 7" TFT LCD display panel. we
installed the package needed to the display like ubuntu-desktop. but,
still the LCD in the expansion board is not enabled. I m not using pre-
built images and using my own customized kernel. what are the changes
needed to enable the LCD.
