Word has just been received by Miss Marion Moyes of this city of the
passing, in Patterson, Stanislaus county, of Mrs. S.L. Preddy, who
before her marriage was Miss Alda Chamberlain, the daughter of a
former Pacific Grove postmaster. Mrs. Preddy has many friends here who
will be saddened by the news of her departure from this life.
