Important Election Update: FINAL RESULT

Dear community members, on 12/24/2019, we published a final list of nominations for upcoming NST Election 2019 for the term 2020-2021. That was also the last day to officially withdraw nomination. However we received written withdrawal request from one of the candidates on 12/26/2019. Election committee unanimously decided to accept the withdrawal request (based on the bylaws, Section 8 d) that was presented to us. After accepting the withdrawal request, no positions are left more than required number of candidates. So it’s not necessary to hold a physical election on 12/28/2019 as scheduled for 12/28/2019.

With this notice we are announcing that all the candidates marked “Elect” above are winners of the NST Election 2019 for the term 2020-2021 Election Committee would like to congratulate all the winners and wish good luck in the future. We also like to congratulate and thank outgoing NST executive team for the successful tenure. We also like to thank all the volunteers and friends who help us throughout the process. It’s been a great pleasure to be a part of this society.
