2019 OBC Awards Dinner & End of Season Party Last Chance for Tickets

Ottawa Media Personality Giacomo Panico to serve as Master of Ceremonies

The Club is also delighted to confirm that this year’s event will be hosted by local media personality and avid cyclist, Giacomo Panico.  Many OBC members will know Giacomo as an avid rider and regular competitor in the Eastern Ontario Cyclocross Series.  By day, he serves as a journalist with the CBC in Ottawa as a reporter and host of the popular Saturday morning radio program In Town and Out.

In addition to a delicious Italian buffet dinner, this all-new event format will feature:

  • Door prizes, raffles and a silent auction featuring fabulous cycling merchandise.
  • Kids games & photo booth
  • Presentation of our two new Lifetime Membership awards
  • Presentation of the club’s annual awards for cycling achievement
  • Volunteer recognition
  • Live music performed by Ottawa’s Dance Commander Trio.

Silent Auction Items:

  • Eurosport Prologue custom frame with a choice of OBC colours
  • Woven carbon wheels 
  • Free Wheel Design: four Framed Limited Edition Numbered Art Prints of Gatineau Park
  • RV CANADA RENTALS Gift Certificate for a 3 day rental of a 2020 Class C 29' motor home valued at $1,500
  • Raffle and auction proceeds from the evening will go to support the OBC’s Youth Development Program.


Dinner ticket prices are: 

  • $50 for OBC members, 
  • $30 for 11-15 yrs, 
  • $20 for 10 & under, and 
  • $60 for non-members.  
     

Special meal and dietary requirements can be accommodated and are available for selection at the time of ticket purchase.  A cash bar will be available that evening. 

Dinner tickets are limited and go on sale starting on November 1st.
