And now for something completely different! Yes, the great OBC BBQ is coming soon. Book your calendars for Sunday, July 17th, 2016. It starts at 10:00 a.m. and goes to about 2:00 p.m.Meet us at the Baxter Conservation Area (at the corner of Dilworth and Rideau Valley Drive South). The Baxter Conservation Centre is located 6.5 km due south of Kars. At this junction, go south on Carter Road, along the Rideau River to the end and look for the Interpretive Centre (about 1 km). BBQ sausages or veggie burgers, vegetables, snacks, and refreshments will be served. Look for the OBC banner and signs. For those of you who bring the family, there is a unsupervised beach and changing area. Welcome! We look forward to seeing you.
