Not news to some, but possibly worth sharing to those that do the Gats Loop using Fortune Lake Parkway going up....
Gatineau Park - Fall Rhapsody - September 30 to October 22, 2017
Look like there will be limited access to some of the Gatineau Parkways during Leaf Peeper Season, most notably Fortune Lake Parkway going up, although they state in a separate section that the D Loop (North Loop) and the usual small part of the G-Parkway will still be closed to motor vehicles.
Info below from NCC site - recommend checking it periodically.
On Fall Rhapsody weekends, from 10:30 am to 4 pm, during shuttle operation:
The southbound lane of Fortune Lake Parkway (heading toward Champlain Lookout) will be closed to all regular traffic (including cyclists), and open exclusively to the Fall Rhapsody shuttle. This closure does not apply to those who have an accessible parking permit.
The northbound lane of Fortune Lake Parkway (toward Dunlop Road) remains open to all traffic to enable motorists and cyclists to access Camp Fortune and Chemin du Lac-Meech.
The Gatineau and Champlain parkways remain open to all traffic in both directions, except during temporary parkway closures required during high traffic periods.
