A new BRouter-Web version 0.7.0 is now online at
http://brouter.de/brouter-web (you may need to refresh the page in order
to clear the cache).

Most notable changes:

- Redesign of the user interface to also support mobile devices
- Permalink is replaced with auto-updating the URL (Hash) in the Browser
address bar. The URL format is changing, but the old format is still
supported:
- old: `#zoom=5&lat=47.220&lon=6.284&layer=OpenStreetMap&...`
- new: `#map=5/47.220/6.284/OpenStreetMap&...`
- No-go area edit/delete buttons replaced with direct click and delete
button on circle, the no-go draw button moved below route draw button
- Ability to add custom map layers
- For local installations:
- `config.js` in the repository is now `config.template.js`, to avoid
overriding your local file; compare with your local `config.js` file and
synchronize changes
- `keys.js.template` renamed to `keys.template.js`

Most of the redesign for mobile support has been contributed by Gautier
Pelloux-Prayer (bagage) and Rodolphe Pelloux-Prayer (RoPP), Gautier also
contributed URL updating, custom layers and more.

Looks great! Love the fact that the settings menu can be hidden now; improves overview.

Nice work. I just tried on my android-mobile (Chrome browser) and that seems usable now.

I had an issue with the backward-compatibility for the old URL-format in the suspect-manager ( http://brouter.de:443/brouter/suspects ). I changed that to the new URL-format now. I re-checked and the issue was raised by stripping "&layer=OpenStreetMap" - so I think that's o.k. as most of the permalinks in old forum-articles are original permalinks and not stripped.

Just noticed that the Profile "river" is no longer availabe at http://www.brouter.de/brouter-web

I used it quite often to plan my paddling tours. Would be nice to have it back. It's still available at http://brouter.damsy.net/.

Oh, and thanks for the awsome work.

Alternatively, you may try the user profile
https://github.com/poutnikl/Brouter-profiles/blob/master/river-poutnik.brf
Go for the RAW button to get the plain text profile listing for proper
copy/paste or save.

"river" profile is still there at:

http://brouter.de/brouter-web

(without "www.")

Not sure if it has always been like that. "www." is not accounted for in
the config switch.

I wrote the URL from memory and must have added the "www".

I can see the river profile from my home laptop. It was gone when I checked from work. Maybe our studid content filter messed it up.

One of my devices has the updated version, the other does not.
Should it update itself automatically, or it necessary to do it manually?
Thanks

The Browser should automatically load the current version. But it might
still use old version files from the cache. Pressing the Reload button
should already help, or at least a Hard Reload with Ctrl-Shift-R - on
touch devices try opening in incognito mode.

Is there a limit for the amount of via-points?

I'm not aware of a limit for via-points, but I haven't tested it either.
