Hi Folks,

We heard this was coming (see below) so didn’t push for a rapid conclusion to our EPA letter or letter-writing process. This said, figuring out the process remains a priority.

Best,

Glenn

FYI.  More time available now to craft responses.

This morning, the EPA has announced that they will grant the extension to the public comment period that SPARC (and many other partner organizations) requested for a controversial new proposed rule on “Strengthening Transparency in Regulatory Science.”  (Federal Register Docket ID No. EPA-HQ-OA-2018-025).

The public will now have until August 16th to submit written comments on this rule, and a public hearing is being scheduled for July 17th here in Washington D.C. as well.
