One recent peer-reviewed study from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine calculates that should the world go vegan, annual greenhouse gas emissions would halve and the new land used every year for each person would near-halve."​

A plant-based diet 80-100% would make a big difference for all of us.  Even the "Paleo Diet" recommends 80% vegetables.

Even if you hate to cook there are few things easier to make for dinner than a big salad.  Mash an avocado in the bottom of the bowl with lemon juice, olive oil and a simple herb blend or just salt and pepper and you've got a dressing to make the rest of your salad scrumptious.
