Dear Supervisor Gore,  My name is Ezra Silk, and I am co-founder and Director of Strategy & Policy of The Climate Mobilization, a national group dedicated to catalyzing an emergency response to restore a safe climate. I work in California representing our organization on the leadership team of the Mobilize L.A. Coalition, which aims to mobilize Los Angeles to transform its economy to carbon-neutrality by 2025 and to launch a global effort to restore a safe climate. I helped to draft the recent legislation introduced into the L.A. City Council to establish an L.A. Climate Emergency Mobilization Department focused on these goals.  I am an ally of Jorge Rebagliati and was very pleased to learn of your courageous wise decision to lead the total transformation of Sonoma County to become a Climate Change-Ready County by committing all our resources, and external aid resources, to Climate Recovery and Climate Change Adaptation, starting with the issuance of an official Climate Change Major Disaster Declaration. I support you and urge you and the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors and City Councils to issue public, in-writing, detailed-enough Climate Change Major Disaster Declarations with the power of Executive Orders and to obtain the State, Federal and private funding and other resources that the Major Disaster Declarations will empower us to get. If the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors does move forward on this groundbreaking initiative, I will gladly bring it to the attention of the Office of L.A. So why has it been Bright blinding white for the last 40 days or so ?

Who will explain why the temperature differential between the days heat and the night's cold has been far greater than I ever remember...70 degrees  to 29 degrees...over 40 degrees difference
