TAKE ACTION TODAY TO HELP RAISE THE MINIMUM WAGE ACROSS THE NORTH BAY!
NBJwJ Supporters:
The Fight for $15 is sweeping across the country and NBJwJ is leading the fight for a REGIONAL $15 per hour minimum wage across the entire North Bay. We are actively working with City Councils to schedule study sessions and pass local ordinances in these North Bay cities: Santa Rosa, Novato, Sonoma, Petaluma, Cotati, and Sebastopol.
Join the effort to Raise the Wage in the North Bay! We need all hands on deck to show up for the study sessions and other public events, forums and meetings to help show these elected officials that the time is NOW to Raise The Wages of local workers who cannot afford to live here!
WHAT YOU CAN DO NOW!
Santa Rosa: City Council is holding a 2-day budget planning process on Feb 21-22 at the Flamingo Resort Hotel, 2777 4th St, Santa Rosa, Courtyard 1. We will be there to make the case for prioritizing a Minimum Wage study session in this budget. Please attend the Public Comment period (and speak, if you wish) which will be: THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 21ST at 9 AM.
If you cannot attend the public meeting and/or wish to write a letter to the City Council, please click HERE: https://actionnetwork.org/letters/santa-rosans-want-a-15-min-wage?source=direct_link&
Local volunteer groups are forming in several of these cities to plan events, lobbying efforts and outreach efforts to the public and small businesses. If you would like to join a volunteer meeting in your city to hear updates and how you may be able to help, please email Mara Ventura at mailto:ma...@northbayjwj.com
