This Saturday! We have a powerhouse line-up! Beginning with a performance by Shamako Noble, Hip Hop artist and cultural organizer and moving to conversations (not lectures!) with Misty Cross of Moms 4 Housing, a collective of homeless and marginally housed mothers who took over an empty house in Oakland, and Kali Akuno, of Cooperation Jackson (MS), a group of collectives and worker-opened enterprises building the solidarity economy. See below for the rest of the group. Please register in advance for this Zoom gathering.

Many people are considering what it means to be an EcoSocialist. In this 2nd presentation of our 3 part series, we explore how we can build and participate in EcoSocialist programs in our own communities. Our guest speakers explore a number of specific programs in breakout sessions focused on the non-reformists reforms that help implement an EcoSocialist future. Speakers are: Mel Figueroa, David Cobb, Kali Akuno, Nassim Nouri, Noura Khouri, Misty Cross and David Bond.

The third and final presentation in this series will build on the first two and will be held on April 10th, 2021 (details to follow).

Our first event in this series, held on Jan 16, was an introduction to Eco-Socialism vs. Capitalism including discussions of what Eco-Socialism may mean to us. See the recording of the Jan 16th event at: https://fb.watch/38b2gRQXwc/
