Call 3 senators before April 27! Last week, SB 467 failed to advance out of committee by ONLY ONE VOTE. We still have a chance to protect the 7.5 million Californians—mostly in low-income and Black, Latinx, and Indigenous communities—from the effects of fossil-fuel extraction/processing in their neighborhoods. #SB467 will be amended to focus on providing a 2500 ft. health-and-safety buffer zone between toxic drilling and homes, schools, playgrounds, hospitals and other sensitive sites.
