Subject: [Climate Reality Check]: Feb Call - An Inter-Generational Discussion with Black Climate Leaders

Dear Climate Reality Check Network,

We are excited to host on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 3:00 pm Eastern / 2:00 pm Central / 1:00 pm Mountain / noon Pacific time, entitled:

An Inter-Generational Discussion with Black Climate Leaders: Where are we in the fight for Environmental and Climate Justice for Communities of Color?

Even if you can't make it on the 14th, register here for the call.

In recognition of Black History Month, this is an important time to reflect on the past and future of the environmental and climate justice movements for Communities of Color. What progress have we made? What can we learn from the past to apply to the now? What are the most important steps forward that both climate leaders and allies can take together on climate wins?

This is an inter-generational panel that draws on these issues, and we are honored to host three leaders in this space: Dr. Mildred McClain with Harambee House/Citizens For Environmental Justice, Tamara Toles O’Laughlin with 350.org, and Kari Fulton with the Climate Justice Alliance.

RSVP for the call.

Talk to you soon!
